Mission
The Foundation is committed to the pursuit of excellence in care and service delivery through the advancement of education, research, creativity, and innovation.
The future quality of long-term care depends on building the public's awareness of a definite need for more professional services and to identify and support projects that will meet those needs.
The Foundation annually awards scholarships to Care Providers of Minnesota members. In addition, the Foundation has a fund specifically focused on developing leadership within the profession.
The Foundation raises funds through its annual golf tournament, a silent auction held at the Care Providers of Minnesota convention, and contributions.
Care Providers of Minnesota Foundation was founded in 1978 and is affiliated with Care Providers of Minnesota, a nonprofit long-term care professional association. Care Providers of Minnesota's membership includes skilled nursing facilities, long-term care providers, disability services providers, assisted living, senior housing, home care and hospice facilities throughout Minnesota.
