Event Description:
Please join us on July 19 for the 2011 Care Providers of Minnesota Foundation Annual Golf Tournament. We need your participation to make this a successful event! Last year, 25 scholarships were awarded to students furthering their careers in long-term care in communities across the state. All are pursuing an educational goal and working at the same time. Many have families. It takes motivation, discipline, and a passion for their chosen profession to make this kind of commitment.
The second Leading4Life class also graduated last year, taking the ideas and experiences of the year-long fellowship program back to their facilities, settings, and communities. Thanks to the generosity of our business partners and participating golfers, in 2010 we were able to surpass all of our previous tournament fundraising efforts. Our fundraising goal for this year’s tournament is $15,000. As the Foundation’s largest source of ongoing program support, the continued success of this tournament is critical to our ability to fulfill our mission.
Get your glam on! Times may be tough all over, but July 19 is one day when “richness” becomes a matter of perspective. By golfing, your support of the Foundation and its scholarship and leadership programs will enrich the lives of students and learners throughout Minnesota. So, get that Royal Wedding attire back out, dazzle us with your rhinestones, grab that fedora and walking stick and join us for the 2011 Care Providers of Minnesota Foundation Golf Tournament.
